Mezentsev: 77 Union State programs worth 60 billion Russian rubles implemented
The trade turnover between Belarus and Russia may amount to more than $60 billion at the end of the year. The figures were announced today at a conference in Moscow. The event was held in honor of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on the Union State. The participants (diplomats, parliamentarians, economists and politicians) noted that today Belarus and Russia are fully united on international platforms. We are united against sanctions, developing import substitution, defending our political and economic interests. The Union State is working successfully.
Dmitry Mezentsev, State Secretary of the Union State:
“77 Union programs worth more than 60 billion Russian rubles have already been implemented. At present, 8 more Union programs worth 4 billion Russian rubles are being implemented in the sphere of space, microelectronics, automotive industry, biotechnology, materials science and, of course, defense and security. And the proposal that was voiced today by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Russian Academy of Sciences to create an interdisciplinary, interstate coordination center, which can be established under the Union Government, is a significant move, where the proposals of the parties will be discussed expertly, and it will increase the efficiency of work.”
And today they also signed a roadmap of cooperation in the field of youth policy for 2025-2027. It is about cooperation in the field of education, as well as joint projects and actions to preserve historical truth.
