West brought the world to a dead end - Rachkov

The West has brought the world to a dead end with its sanctions policy, interference in internal affairs, pressure, sometimes, you know, even hypocrisy and boorish attitude to other countries. Sergei Rachkov, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus, shared this opinion in the “Panorama” program.

This does not suit the states, which gathered at the BRICS summit in Kazan, said the parliamentarian. “First of all, BRICS is an economic organization. We are talking about economic integration. Today, after all, the improvement of people's lives is based on the improvement of economic relations,” the politician believes.

Sergei Rachkov:

“Belarus has received the status of a BRICS partner, although the level of socio-economic development and human potential of the Republic of Belarus suggest that we can count on more, i.e. full membership in this organization. But this was decided by the founders of BRICS. I am confident that we will go a certain way with dignity. It will be a short one in order to obtain full membership in the organization".
