What is Belarus's main success, according to Alexander Lukashenko?

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about Belarus's main success at a meeting with students of humanities universities, BELTA reports.
"I gave orders to build an exhibition center. We are opening it soon. This is for you, because I see from the youth that they do not know Belarus. Some know foreign countries better than Belarus. So they will come there and see what we do with our own hands," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
The President recalled that the construction of a new building for the National History Museum is also starting in Minsk.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that the history of Belarusian statehood began a long time ago - with the Polotsk and Turov principalities. "That's why I'm trying to do something so that young people, not even you, but your children would come and see: yes, we are so ancient; yes, we can do such things," the Belarusian leader said.
According to the President, Belarus' success is in one thing - the country has not discarded its heritage, has preserved the experience and achievements of the Soviet era.
"We improved, improved, improved and achieved something. If we had discarded it, we would not have had the money to create something new. Everything requires crazy money, where does it come from now? Excess, reserve money. Gas, oil, metals and so on - what do we have of this? Nothing, except our brains. But we held on. We developed thanks to the fact that we did not discard what our ancestors did before us," Alexander Lukashenko noted.
