Ambassador of Serbia: Belarus has strong enterprises and very good health care system
Belarus and Serbia intend to develop friendly and trusting relations including between the parliaments of our countries.
The parties confirmed their intention to intensify contacts on October 16 in Minsk. Speaker of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeenko held a meeting with the Serbian ambassador to our country on the occasion of the start of her diplomatic mission.
Our countries have long-standing ties and mutual support on international platforms. Serbia is a key partner for us in the Balkans. And in Europe, it is actually the only country with which we have visa-free travel and free trade agreement. This simplifies contacts between people, including business.
Belarus has always supported Serbia on the most sensitive issues. And counts on the same support," the speaker emphasized. For her part, the ambassador noted the proximity of our countries and the friendly nature of relations. This will contribute to the implementation of the joint economic plans.
"The most important thing for me, as a professional and a person, is that your people are amazing, very polite, hardworking," said Ilina Vukajlovic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Serbia to Belarus.
According to her, our countries have many areas for cooperation. "Belarus has strong enterprises, high scientific potential, a very good health care system. And we are trying to develop cooperation in absolutely all areas for the benefit of our peoples and bilateral interests," said the ambassador.
The Belarusian side expressed confidence that the diplomat's knowledge, experience and genuine interest in Belarus will contribute to the development of relations between our countries.
