Parliamentary delegation of Federation Council on official visit to Belarus

From unification of legislation to economic cooperation between regions. The parliamentarians of Belarus and Russia always have something to discuss. And this meeting is a kind of reconciliation of hours. What has been done, where it is necessary to concentrate efforts. There are successes. The trade turnover between Belarus and Russia has exceeded Br2.5 trillion since the beginning of the year. And sanctions, as they say, are only a plus for the economy. The interregional cooperation has long been an engine of the Union economy.

The Forum of Regions was a vivid confirmation of this. A weighty package of agreements is being implemented.

The growth of trade turnover, strengthening of industrial cooperation, and production of Belarusian-Russian products are the result of a well-functioning partnership. Bilateral projects are being implemented in the industry. A good example is construction. The number of facilities built in Russian regions by Belarusians is growing. Aircraft construction is a new prospect. By 2027, Belarus plans to start production of light multipurpose airplanes.
