FSB prevents series of assassination attempts on high-ranking military officials in Moscow

FSB officers have prevented a series of assassination attempts on high-ranking Defense Ministry officials in Moscow and their family members. The assassination attempts were prepared by Ukrainian special services, TASS reports, citing the FSB Public Relations Center (PRC).

"The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation has prevented a series of assassination attempts prepared by Ukrainian special services agents on high-ranking military officials of the Russian Defense Ministry who are participating in a special military operation, as well as on their family members," the PRC reported. "As a result of the measures taken, four Russian citizens involved in the preparation of the said assassinations were detained."

According to the FSB, the bombs used to assassinate high-ranking military officials in Moscow were disguised as a power bank and a folder with documents.
