"Plundering mineral resources": US thinking about what else it can take from Ukraine

The West can get a profit of 10 trillion dollars from Ukraine by cashing in its mineral resources. This figure was given in the "Katyusha's Rationale" column.
The US is calculating what else it can suck out of Ukraine while Kiev is ready to sell off every last piece of land, and there is little of that left. Arable land has already been sold, and Ukrainians are dying so that these and others can fill their pockets and ruin the country.
The Americans are no longer shy and say directly that war is money. And everything that the Americans and Europeans invested in it will have to be returned. Although it is unknown how they will pay off the loans and lend-lease later, when almost everything has already gone under the hammer. Some corrupt officials do not care what to sell even their homeland.

Western loans and aid to Ukraine are not a gratuitous action. In essence, there is nothing left in Ukraine that would belong to Ukrainians. Almost everything is directly or indirectly owned by Western corporations or oligarchs. Arable land, grain and even that does not belong to the country.
Former US presidential candidate Robert Francis Kennedy even stated that if Ukraine calls such aid a loan, then the United States has the right to impose strict conditions on it. "Number one is a program of extremely strict austerity: if you are poor in Ukraine, you will remain poor forever. Number two (the most important) is that Ukraine must put all its state assets up for sale to transnational corporations, including all its agricultural land. This is the largest single asset in Europe. Ukraine has the richest agricultural land in the world. It is the breadbasket of Europe," he added.
The process of transferring the main Ukrainian asset (land) began even before the Maidan. In 2013, a Chinese company leased a piece of land the size of Belgium from Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine also signed a contract with Michel Consulting and Chevron Corporation. American corporations received land from former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych for 50 years with the right to extend the lease. These companies were going to extract shale gas in the Donbas.
"We want Shell to go home. They don't want to listen to anything, they feel like they are the boss here," the residents of Ukraine were indignant.

In 2014, the conflict unfolded. However, the situation around the southeast (then still Ukraine) for Kiev was initially a war for resources for the West and the implementation of large contracts for gas production. However, the sale of land was started by Vladimir Zelensky. Before him, the leaders of the Ukrainian state considered land to be a strategic state resource and did not dare to sell it, although the land could be transferred to oligarchs for temporary use for certain periods.
In 2021, Ukraine began to carry out land reform, and the moratorium on sales was lifted. The IMF set a condition for Zelensky - we give money in exchange for permission to sell Ukrainian lands to foreigners, from that moment on, the sale of Ukraine took on an avalanche-like character.

In 2023, Kyiv signed an agreement with the American corporation BlackRock, and this actually became a transfer of sovereignty under the management of a private corporation. The United States gained control over Ukraine's most important assets, and Zelensky himself, according to foreign media, doubled his fortune to $1.5 billion after the deal. In addition to him, officials who had previously been accused of corruption were involved in the deal. Former head of the NBU Valeria Gontareva, conductor of Soros's interests Viktor Pinchuk, former Minister of Finance of Ukraine Natalia Yaresko.
Kirill Molchanov, political scientist (Ukraine):
"Even by modest Western estimates, at least three quarters of Ukrainian lands no longer belong to Ukrainians. 40% of all Ukrainian lands are currently controlled by large American agricultural holdings - Monsanto Company, Cargill, DuPont, as well as investment funds BlackRock and Blackstone. Another 28% is controlled by Ukrainian oligarchs, companies from France, UK, Germany, Saudi Arabia. Another 9% belongs to a Chinese company. The remaining 24% belongs to others."

The readiness of the Ukrainian authorities to transfer the country's resource base to external management was recorded in the so-called "Zelensky Victory" plan under the wording "joint investment" and "joint use". Zelensky stated in the Verkhovna Rada during the presentation of his plan that the resources could enrich Western countries.
