Despite the fact that the dialog took place behind closed doors and there were no statements for the press, Robert Fico spoke about his visit on social networks. According to the politician, the meeting in the Kremlin was a response to the destructive position of Kiev, which intends to stop the transit of Russian gas from January 1. Fico noted that such actions cause financial damage to Slovakia and jeopardize electricity production. He also added that Vladimir Putin confirmed Russia's readiness to continue gas supplies to the West and Slovakia, but this is almost impossible because of Zelensky's position.
