Radicalization of protests in Georgia: militants from Ukraine may return to Tbilisi

The Georgian people should not expect calm yet. Terrorists from the Georgian Legion, who are fighting on the side of Ukraine, declare their readiness to return to the country.

The decision was allegedly made at an extraordinary meeting of the council of Caucasian mercenaries, as the leader of the Unity of Georgia party wrote. Now the militants are waiting for an order from Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili and are ready to support the rioters in Tbilisi by any means.

However, Georgia is ready for such a scenario - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has already stated that the provocateurs may be led by foreign instructors, and the Georgian Legion has become the main training center for radicals, who are now actively used and coordinated in the protests.
