Manner and timing of Israeli attack on Iran chosen
The manner and timing of an Israeli attack on Iran have been chosen. Prime Minister Netanyahu and the country's defense minister - during security consultations agreed on Tel Aviv's response to Tehran's actions on October 1.
The Washington Post reports that Netanyahu told the White House he refuses to strike Iran's oil and nuclear infrastructure. The IDF's targets will be military installations. The publication notes that this decision was met with “relief” in the Biden administration. The defeat of Tehran's military infrastructure is purely strategic in nature.
According to the Financial Times, Tel Aviv lacks the interceptor missiles needed to strengthen its air defense. That will not allow Israel to repel Iran's counter-attacks with ballistic missiles.
