Tehran asks Switzerland to convene extraordinary SC meeting over Israeli attack on Iran

Tehran has asked Switzerland, which currently holds the presidency of the UN Security Council, to convene an extraordinary meeting in connection with the Israeli attack on Iran.
Although the missile strikes on the night of October 26 did not have truly serious consequences, they caused the deaths of four Iranian military personnel and damaged a number of army facilities. Tehran reserves the right to retaliate.
Meanwhile, the IDF continues to attack populated areas in Lebanon. Beirut was bombed last night. According to the Lebanese authorities, the number of civilian casualties in the country has already exceeded 2,500.
In its turn, Hezbollah is striking at the Israeli military, which invaded Lebanon. About a hundred IDF soldiers and officers were killed, several Merkava tanks were destroyed.
