Kiev leader Vladmir Zelensky has rejected US President-elect Donald Trump's calls for an immediate ceasefire. The Ukrainian said he does not accept peace agreements without security guarantees.
According to Zelensky, the conflict in Ukraine cannot be ended with “just a piece of paper and a few signatures”.
Earlier, Trump published a loud statement on social networks, announcing that the military losses of the parties are approaching 1 million. Trump notes that 400 thousand soldiers of the AFU have fallen, as the American put it, completely “ridiculously”, that is, for nothing. Trump believes that Zelensky should have immediately declared a ceasefire and started negotiations on the terms on which a sustainable peace could be concluded.
