China International Import Expo officially opens

The China International Import Expo has officially opened in Shanghai. This year, more than 150 countries and regions are represented here. Belarus is among them. Our exposition occupied almost 600 square meters in three pavilions. The official opening is tomorrow. About 300 thousand visitors and buyers are expected at the EXPO.

Among 180 countries, there is Belarusian delegation led by the Minister of Agriculture and Food Anatoly Linevich. The delegation includes Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Alexander Chervyakov, Director of Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Natalia Kurash.

On behalf of the leadership of China, the Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang welcomed the forum participants.

This year, the Hongqiao forum is dedicated to the theme of "Promoting a high level of openness and inclusive economic globalization".

The official opening of the Belarus pavilion is tomorrow. But today we are feeding all the guests.

Belarusian Syrniki from Anton Kalenik (and he is in the top 200 best chefs in the world) were appreciated by guests from China and neighbors at the exposition from Syria.

Our exposition this year is presented in the country pavilion (here we are waiting for business meetings and are already preparing pens for signing new contracts) and two thematic locations: "Food and agricultural products", "High-tech equipment and information technology". They promise to show the tourism, investment, economic potential of Belarus, and of course feed everyone with Belarusian.

The Belarusian House at EXPO in Shanghai occupies 600 square meters. Our delegation includes National Agency for Tourism, National Agency for Investment and Privatization of Belarus.

In the food sector the well-known meat, dairy, confectionery companies are presented.

The high technologies and equipment sector are represented by China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone" and its residents, the international pride of Belarus - High-Tech Park, the Belarusian Customs Service, the State Committee for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education and the National Academy of Sciences.

A representative of Guangzhou has already been at this stand. Documents on the creation of a joint venture with China have been signed. Negotiations were also held directly at the enterprises.

The enterprises of the Ministry of Industry of Belarus, as well as the largest industry concerns: "Belneftekhim", "Bellesbumprom", "Bellegprom" brought their developments. In general, there are a lot of Belarusians in Shanghai these days.

The official opening ceremony of the Belarusian pavilion is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6.
