Construction of deferrization stations continues in Belarus
Providing quality drinking water to the inhabitants of even the most remote villages is one of the priority tasks, which is being addressed in the regions. Construction of deferrization stations and water intake wells, modernization and construction of communications are underway. An integrated approach is necessary in such an important issue as clean water. How are they coping with this task in the north of the country?
30 water deferrization stations have already been built and 11 are in the process of construction. These are the figures for the northern region for 2024. Vitebsk, Polotsk, Novopolotsk, Orsha are 100% provided with quality drinking water. This is an indicator to which other district centers, agro-towns and villages aspire.
High-quality water should be available to residents of even the most remote villages. The issue is addressed with the help of mini deferrization plants. They are optimally suited for small settlements. The equipment is placed not in separate boxes, but in the premises of existing water supply complexes.
Now the territory is being improved. The new stations will be a gift for local residents by November 7.
