Belarus proposes to develop an international treaty against unilateral coercive sanctions
Belarus proposes to develop an international treaty against unilateral coercive measures. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Our country, Maxim Ryzhenkov, at the ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the UN Charter.
According to him, the illegal unilateral sanctions are essentially a modern colonial tool of the destructive foreign policy of certain states. And they have a direct negative impact on sustainable development. Belarus welcomes the holding of the first-ever meeting of the UN General Assembly on the issue of the use of unilateral coercive measures and its inclusion as a separate item on the agenda of the event, the minister emphasized.
