Belarusian Foreign Ministry supports Palestinian efforts to build independent state
Belarus supports the efforts of the Palestinian people to build an independent, stable state. This was noted by First Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Lukashevich on November 29 at an event in the House of Friendship on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, BelTA writes.
“Belarus is convinced that the inalienable right of the Palestinians to create their own independent and territorially integral state, coexisting with Israel in peace and security within the internationally recognized borders, will certainly be realized,” said Sergei Lukashevich.
He drew attention: “Today Palestine as a sovereign state is recognized by more than 130 states, including permanent members of the UN Security Council - Russia and China”.
The First Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized the importance of the message on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. It says that “de-escalation of tensions in the Middle East, the rapid achievement of peace and security will contribute to the stability and economic development of Palestine and the states of the entire region.”
Sergei Lukashevich handed to the Ambassador of Palestine the original message of the Belarusian head of state.
