President: We will help private companies just like we help state enterprises
Support and develop private companies that pull large production facilities along with them at the level of state-owned enterprises. On December 10, the President of Belarus visited a small company in Borisov producing fire trucks and equipment for rescuers. This is a good example of a public-private partnership, when everyone wins.
The main customer of such equipment in the country is the Ministry of Emergency Situations. At the same time, the vehicles are also sold very well to Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Africa. The market is huge. Belarusian production (according to the standards that are being worked out with rescuers) is in great demand.
Traditionally, there was a meeting with the team. The most pressing and pressing topics that are probably on everyone's lips were discussed: "Oreshnik" in Belarus, events in Syria, and, finally, American recognition of COVID.
"POZHSNAB" employs about 250 people. To create equipment, they use designs from other Belarusian enterprises (the same MAZ). It turns out to be a Belarusian brand consisting of Belarusian brands. The main buyers in Belarus, of course, are the Ministry of Emergency Situations. They also participate in the development, so an entire engineering school is formed, which is suitable for neighbors.
The company's office and workshops are located just 60 kilometers from Minsk - in Borisov. Immediately upon arrival, the President asked the key question, which today determines the success of any undertaking.
All the ministers are shouting: "Programs, programs". What programs? Why should we invent something? Well, we will not invent a space rocket. We don't need it at all. But we have a sea of such schools and industries as yours. So let's develop them and invest in them.
Development, sales department, sales and supply - the office is small, but very functional. This is the advantage of business. Such companies use all the opportunities within the framework of business forums. Special thanks for this.
