Alexander Lukashenko, President of Belarus
"Today, the war is a war of drones. The beginning of the military operation in Ukraine and now are two big differences. Now we see that there is no war without drones. They are already starting to chase the soldier with drones. A soldier is 5 times more expensive than a drone. That is, if you strike one soldier with a drone, it is very advantageous, roughly speaking, as the military considers in war. Because training a soldier, equipping him, and so on is 5 times more expensive than a drone that chases this soldier on the battlefield. Therefore, without drones, there is no talk of victory or war today".
The head of state saw domestic developments, told about new products and improvements in previous models. The President noted that production should be as focused as possible on its own components. In total, more than 30 military products were presented at the training ground. There was an opportunity to see some in action. The training program also included episodes of combat use of weapons and equipment.
To effectively counter enemy drones, it is also necessary to have modern equipment - electronic warfare systems. And in this regard, Belarus has competencies dating back to the Soviet Union. The task is to constantly strengthen one's defense capability and readiness to resist the enemy in the event of military aggression. The strategy and tactics were discussed at the meeting, which was organized right at the training ground.
