During his official visit to Pakistan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko held a meeting with General Asim Munir, Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Pakistan (Commander of the Pakistan Army), BELTA reports.
The meeting was closed. The day before, the head of state also held talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad.
The parties focused on the expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation with an emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction. Alexander Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif reviewed the most promising areas of cooperation and discussed a joint action plan.
