Results of Alexander Lukashenko's visit to OMAN
The Persian Gulf state, both the United Arab Emirates and Oman, which our leader visited the day before, have enormous development potential, and we have something to offer them.
The Belarusian leader is creating conditions for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation. Technologies, competencies, joint production, building logistics routes and much more. Large and important agreements are done in silence, such are the circumstances of current international relations. In particular, during the President's working visit to Oman, agreements were reached on filling the "Roadmap for Cooperation" with specific projects. And already in the middle of next year, the Sultan of Oman is expected to visit Belarus.
"The Sultan made a very good proposal: to create a hub here, a center for Belarusian goods. And yesterday I honestly told him that we have learned to produce a lot of things. And in this regard, they promised to help us. And in this regard, they promised to help us. In a word, there were no closed topics at all. Oman has a huge interest in Belarus. We probably have not been very active here, the Belarusian leader said.
"First trading goods, we are ready to create joint ventures here and expand production here and trade together along this path. This concerns many products and goods. We do not talk about this publicly for certain reasons," the President said.
The Middle East is not a simple region; the attention of analysts and the expert community is traditionally riveted to it. Political scientist Vadim Elfimov is confident that Alexander Lukashenko's working visit to Oman has already produced tangible results. One of the key topics for further cooperation, he highlights, is food security.
