The President of Belarus declares that Europe cannot exist without Russia and Belarus

Europe cannot exist without Russia and Belarus. This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on December 23 at a meeting with the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin, BELTA reported.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that Belarus and Moscow have many points of contact, and the Belarusian side expects to develop cooperation with the Russian capital.
"It's nearby, it's our hometown. Our people come there in millions every year, they are very happy. Many go to Moscow for the New Year just to take pictures in certain locations. I support this, I am very happy and I am urging the President of Russia that in this huge construction of high-speed railways we, perhaps, give priority to the route through Minsk to Brest - a holy place for Russians and Belarusians, Ukrainians, all the peoples of the Soviet Union. I think that sooner or later (and after the Emirates I am absolutely convinced) Europe will open up to us. Europe cannot exist without Russia, it cannot exist without us, so we need good high-speed roads. And so that Belarusians can quickly get to Moscow and vice versa," the President said.
According to him, the leadership of Belarus and Russia will do everything possible to connect the two capitals with high-speed roads. "And we should not lose St. Petersburg. This triangle must work," the head of state emphasized.
"I think that calmly, over time, Kiev will also work with us. They won't go anywhere, because we are people after all. Anything can happen in life. But I think we will normalize relations with them," added Alexander Lukashenko.
