How changes in Polish migration strategy will affect Belarusian fugitives?

The Polish government recently adopted a new migration strategy. It contains a number of changes that concern the admission of foreigners to the labor market.
Extremist resources rushed to calm the alarmed fugitives - those who are trying to legally earn their bread, and not just steal from stores and gas stations. They say that Poland will indeed introduce requirements for foreigners who want to work in this country. But Belarusians and Ukrainians have better conditions. Is this true? These conditions will be discussed in the author's program "Platdorm".
Downshifting - this is how labor market experts and specialized portals characterize the employment of immigrants from Belarus and other post-Soviet countries in the coveted European Union. That is, a deliberate reduction in their own price, moving down the social ladder. Or even to the bottom.
On the one hand, job search engines are full of numbers and options. On the other hand, the list of vacancies on offer is too brutal for the white-collar workers who rocked the "hated regime" in 2020. Pastry chef's assistant, order picker, goods packer, sticker maker at a cosmetics factory, car repair depot mechanic, road worker, window assembler, mechanic at a service station. Decent positions, in principle. The working professions.
But creation is not about change buffs, right? And our artists of the Bolshoi and Maly Theaters, masters of the Vilnius EHU and Bialystok College choose downshifting of a different kind - spiritual. To the very bottom.
The 24-year-old "changemaker" has been working in Warsaw since 2020. Well, how does she work? She allures passers-by to strip bars. The wayward half-whore calls herself a promoter, and in case of meeting particularly hot clients, she carries a gas canister with her. Although quite recently, the Poles have heard about high-profile investigations into strip bars - drugging clients with clonidine, paying tens of thousands of dollars per evening with their cards.
Another touching story. A former resident of Brest worked on Belgian and Polish construction sites. Then he decided that it was much more pleasant to be a street musician. But the virtuoso unfinished construction worker is worried about something else:
"Competition in Warsaw has grown a lot. Conflicts arise between musicians. The most unpleasant thing is that this happens to those who can't sing and play."
The blue sky has also become a roof for a former resident of the Oktiabrsky settlement, who became a telephone terrorist and settled in Lithuania. The insolvent troublemaker was simply thrown out of his rented apartment, and now he is looking for a new one. The most logical thing would be to send him to Uzupis, but in this creative quarter of Vilnius the rent for an apartment is 900-950 euros per month. That is, about 3.4 thousand Belarusian rubles.
And here is a cry from the heart of another escaped extremist, who got from Minsk all the way to the USA: "I am sitting in my broken car. Some Indian from our complex passes by, made a face and told me not to be a prostitute."
Other fugitives often keep quiet about their income and the ways of getting it. But it is not difficult to guess about these methods. Quite recently, vague doubts on this matter were dispelled by a political activist and coordinator of protest actions who fled to the West from Russia. She told how she became a night butterfly in Poland and is not ashamed of it. The most interesting thing is that his daughter's choice was supported by her father, who also "works" in the field of alternative medicine.
Characterizing the fugitive opposition abroad, Polish political scientist and publicist Tomasz Gryguch recently noted on the BELTA YouTube channel:
"They are corrupt and worthless people. In Belarus, they have no significance. The Belarusian opposition are traitors and renegades who act to the detriment of their people." Ordinary extremists who believed the songs of seasoned grant-suckers and the fairy tales of old Europe are becoming equally worthless. Thisisdownshiftingordegradationinourlanguage.
