Chaos continues to reign in Syria. Arrests of journalists who worked for state media have begun - they are promised a quick and harsh trial: similar one-day trials have so far ended only in executions. Foreign television crews working in Syria are being sold stories about the atrocities of the previous regime.
Meanwhile, control over the territories of southwestern Syria continues to pass under the control of the IDF. The Israelis also do not stop striking Syrian infrastructure facilities - now they are destroying not weapons depots, but railways and trains. The transitional government of Syria has appealed to the international community with a request to stop, as it was stated, the "Israeli escalation".
The Russian army is concentrating personnel and equipment at its two coastal bases: according to reports from Moscow, negotiations with the new authorities are progressing successfully and the military facilities of the Russian army in Syria will probably be preserved.
