The guilty is innocent - the identity of Calin Georgescu's sponsors revealed

One day before the term of office of the incumbent president of Romania expires. And two days before the deadline for the Court of Appeal to hear the case initiated by Calin Georgescu, it suddenly became clear that his sponsors are not the invisible hand of Russia, but the pro-European National Liberal Party.

This became known after an investigation by the Romanian tax service. Let me remind you that the Romanian Constitutional Court annulled the results of the vote after finding an alleged Russian trace in the politician's victory in the first round. But now the main argument against Georgescu's victory for his opponents has disappeared. The evidence base of the tax service will be handed over to the CEC.
