Trump declares his "political victory" and calls himself 47th president of the United States

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump declared his "political victory" in the elections, calling himself the 47th president of the United States. He made the statement while speaking to supporters at the West Palm Beach Convention Center in Florida, BELTA reports with reference to ABC News.
"We overcame obstacles that no one thought possible. And now it is clear that we have achieved the most incredible political result: hey, look what happened, isn't that crazy? But this is a political victory," Trump said. "This is a great victory for the American people, which will allow us to make America great again."
"I think we've just witnessed the greatest political comeback in American history," said Ohio Senator James David Vance, whom Trump congratulated on his appointment as Vice President of the United States.
According to media reports, Trump is confident that the Republicans have gained control of both houses of Congress following the election. He also promised to work "to stop wars."
Earlier, Speaker of the House of Representatives Mike Johnson said that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had become the elected head of state, TASS reports. "Donald Trump is now our president-elect, chosen by the American people in times like these," he wrote on the X social network. According to him, Republicans in Congress are ready to work with Trump to implement his "America First" program.
The United States is holding another general election. The president, a third of the Senate and the entire House of Representatives, as well as the governors of 11 states and 2 territories are being elected. Republican candidate Donald Trump has taken the lead in the presidential race, ahead of his Democratic rival Kamala Harris in the key states.
