Trump's threat. The US President-elect said that he will impose 100 percent duties if the BRICS countries - create a new currency or abandon the dollar.

Also, in his social network he emphasized that all states that are trying to abandon the U.S. currency, will have to refuse from the market of the United States. Earlier, the Brazilian president has repeatedly proposed to introduce an alternative currency to the dollar on the territory of BRICS.

At the same time, the Russian leader said in early November that it is too early to talk about a single BRICS currency, as the BRICS countries do not yet have such a goal. According to Putin, for this purpose, it is necessary to achieve greater integration of the economies of the member states with each other.
