Gigin: BRICS and SCO form new edifice of world order
The BRICS summit literally drove Western opponents and Belarusian fugitives to hysterics. The pressure exerted on the leaders of many countries not to go to Kazan is evidence that something very serious was expected from the Summit. And it happened. Vadim Gigin, a member of the House of Representatives, shared this opinion on Alfa Radio.
Vadim Gigin, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus:
"This is, indeed, true. According to the assessments of quite different analysts, which is confirmed by the heads of state, BRICS and SCO today are the structures that form a new building of the world order, emerging on the ruins of the unipolar world".
According to the deputy, BRICS, in the future may even replace the UN, if the organization becomes ineffective. Gigin is confident that the new global structures are already ready to take responsibility for making very large decisions on a global scale.
