President appoints new ministers and ambassadors

Notable and important appointments were made by the Head of State today. Following the results of Personnel Monday, we have a new Minister of Culture, Ambassador of Belarus to Turkmenistan and Assistant to the President for the Mogilev Region. The rotation also affected a number of large companies. Tasks were announced for everyone. Among them is to work more actively in the regions, including with the personnel reserve. It is necessary to closely address the problems of national cinematography, to decide on the future of the Belarusian Oil Company, despite all the difficulties, develop cooperation with Ashgabat.
Alexander Lukashenko himself called the appointment to the post of head of the Ministry of Culture a landmark event. From now on, Ruslan Chernetsky will be in charge of culture in the country. This morning, the news from the palace definitely made a splash in creative circles. The minister himself is already well known - he is not only a deputy, but also an honored artist of Belarus, grew up on the Gorky Theater stage.
The only question is - will you be able to manage all this? Of course, we will do everything so that you had a person you can count on. But the hardest thing in this job, as I understand it over all my years, is that I have had to deal with cultural workers more than once - these are such different people. They are so talented, capable and very ambitious. Probably, this is also close to you, and you will figure it out. I always feel sorry for the Minister of Culture in the sense that he has to withstand such pressure. It seems that cultural workers are patriotic, aimed at one goal, but they go about it in so many different ways. At the beginning of my presidential activity, I delved into all the problems of each cultural worker. All the problems. I tried to figure it out. Then I realized that if I dealt only with the problems of these people, then I would not have enough time for everything else. And I see: if you do it well, everyone is happy, and the next day some group zealously opposes what you did, and says that all this is wrong and there was no need to help them or something else. In general, there was a decent mess.
The head of state noted that there is very tough competition in the cultural sphere, but there is no getting away from it. "But we have to compete. Whoever is more talented is at the top. Whoever cannot withstand this competition, well, he chose this path for himself. Although I will not say that I do not support people's desire to be at the top. They all want to be at the top, in the public eye - that's their job," the President added.
It's true that people of art are a special caste. And, therefore, a special approach is always needed. The President understands this and always tries to listen to people from this sphere. And this is despite the fact that some "creators" responded to state support and the constant attention of the First with evil and outright betrayal. There are no complaints about the former leader, but now his own man will be in charge of culture.
The head of state also explained that the decision to appoint a new Minister of Culture was not connected with the fact that Anatoly Markevich, who held this position, did not cope with his duties. "This person is from another sphere, and I sent a person from another sphere there on purpose. I do not envy him: it was very difficult for him. Therefore, I still return to the fact that it should be "their man", as they say, from the sphere of culture. You are familiar with all this. You are a very patriotic, reliable person. I hope that you will cope with this work. I just want to say as a man: you, Ruslan, have no other way. Either die, or restore order in this sphere, - Alexander Lukashenko figuratively said. - And our people are talented, they can do everything: make films, sing, dance, and so on. You will be provided with all kinds of support. We will help and support."
They say that a talented person is talented in everything. But the new minister still has to prove it with his organizational and managerial work. Being on camera works out - Chernetsky himself has many films to his credit, but what is important to the President is what happens behind the scenes.
