Alexander Lukashenko says that Belarus seeks closer partnership with Kenya

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated President of Kenya William Rutoon the national holiday - Independence Day, the press service of the Belarusian leader reported.
"Modern Kenya is steadily developing its economy and increasing its influence in the international arena, takes an active position on regional and global issues, and is also a recognized world leader in the field of environmental protection. We highly appreciate the good relations that have developed between Minsk and Nairobi. It is pleasant to note that recently bilateral cooperation has been gaining momentum, the main areas of cooperation have been outlined," the congratulations read.
The head of state noted that Belarus seeks closer partnership with Kenya in the sectors of agriculture, food security, industry, education, and information technology.
"I am convinced that the effective implementation of plans and joint projects will contribute to the socio-economic development of both countries," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized. "I take this opportunity to express my readiness to work fruitfully with you in the interests of our citizens, and I confirm the invitation to pay an official visit to Minsk." The President wished William Ruto good health and success in his creative work, and harmony and prosperity tothe friendly people of Kenya.
