Lukashenko awards Alexandra Pakhmutova with Order of Friendship of Peoples

Composer, People's Artiste of the USSR Alexandra Pakhmutova has been awarded the Order of Friendship of Peoples. The corresponding decree was signed by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports BelTA with reference to the press service of the head of state.

Alexandra Pakhmutova was awarded this award for her significant contribution to the development of musical art, strengthening peace, Belarusian-Russian relations and cultural ties, fruitful creative activity, which contributes to the rapprochement and mutual enrichment of national cultures.
