Lukashenko congratulates King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa on National Day

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself, congratulated King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa al-Khalifa and Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Defense Forces, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain Salman bin Hamad al-Khalifa, as well as the people of this country on National Day.

"The accession to the throne in 1971 of King Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa opened a new bright page in the history of Bahrain, which continues to develop successfully under your leadership. Your effective efforts to strengthen the economy, support social stability and increase the country's role in the international arena deserve deep respect," the congratulations to Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa read

The head of state emphasized that Belarus is interested in expanding ties with Bahrain and more fully realizing all the opportunities for cooperation.

In his congratulatory message to Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the expansion of the Belarusian-Bahraini political dialogue, as well as the intensification of mutually beneficial cooperation in various areas, primarily in the trade, economic, investment and humanitarian spheres, fully corresponds to the interests of both peoples.
