Lukashenko meets with Pakistani Prime Minister at his family residence

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko held an informal lunch with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, BelTA reports.

The meeting of the two leaders took place at Shehbaz Sharif's family residence in the resort town of Murree. Here, the Belarusian head of state also met with members of his family, including former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, at an informal lunch.

The day before, Alexander Lukashenko held official talks with Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad. The parties focused on expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with an emphasis on practical steps to develop trade and economic interaction. Alexander Lukashenko and Shehbaz Sharif reviewed the most promising areas of cooperation and discussed a joint action plan for the future.
