Lukashenko offers experience and competencies of Belarus to contribute to development of Equatorial

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo on Independence Day on behalf of the Belarusian people and himself.

This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“More than 50 years ago, your country chose a new path, prioritizing the interests of its residents. The result of this defining decision has become a strong socially oriented state that is ready not only to uphold national values, but also to deepen respectful and mutually beneficial relations with international partners,” the message of the greetings reads.

The head of state noted that Equatorial Guinea is well aware of the potential of Belarus in such sectors as agriculture, healthcare, education, housing and industrial construction, oil refining, wood processing and others. “With our experience and competencies we can help achieve new heights in the socio-economic development of our friendly Equatorial Guinea,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that the roadmap of bilateral cooperation signed last year would be successfully implemented in full in accordance with the agreements reached.

The President of Belarus wished the President of Equatorial Guinea good health, longevity and fulfillment of the plans of the two countries.
