Syria is a battle between the world's main players, and this is a lesson for Belarus. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, answering questions from employees of POZHSNAB company in Borisov, BELTA reports.

"There is such a mess there that this is only the beginning, it seems to me, and now a struggle for power will begin. Syria is a battle between the world's main players. This is a lesson for us. We must determine our own destiny. We must save our country!" the head of state said.

Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that Syria was once turned into a testing ground.
