Lukashenko tells what is the main task of politicians in the pre-election period

During the report on the efficiency of the agro-industrial complex, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko voiced the main task and promise to the Belarusian people in the pre-election period. It sounds like this: "We will have to jump higher!" This was reported by BELTA.
"Going to the people today with an exam (they will take our five-year exam), we must say what we will do. That's all politics. A politician, a future President, must be able to do this. But the main thing is specifics: what you will do," the Belarusian leader emphasized.
Speaking about the development of the agro-industrial complex, Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the fact that a lot has already been done in the country, they have experience, but it is important to decide how to proceed. "We need to help the farmers. You know, there are fewer and fewer people in the countryside. Vladimir Yevgenyevich (Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Kukharev) draws everything he can from the countryside to Minsk. There are already 2 million people here. More and more. Well, there needs to be a return for the countryside, because people need to be fed. These 2 million in Minsk - they all want to eat every day, from small children to adults. We have learned to do this. We do it very well," the Belarusian leader noted.
He drew attention to the fact that the quality of domestic food products is also appreciated abroad, and even the heads of state sometimes ask him to send something to try.
"That's why we have learned to do this. But for now, we have reached some kind of horizontal line and cannot jump higher. But we will have to jump. And this is our main task and promise to the Belarusian people during this pre-election period," the head of state said.
