President of Belarus: We Were, Are, and Will Always Be with Russia

Belarus has always been, is, and will remain united with Russia. President Alexander Lukashenko affirmed this on June 20 during a meeting with the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, as reported by BELTA.

"These are challenging times, and you understand this better than anyone — you feel it because you are involved in many processes. In all of them. I see that you have found work even in the liberated territories (or perhaps were entrusted with it), carrying a significant burden. The threats posed by our opponents and enemies are quite serious, and all of this falls upon you to investigate various crimes on Russian soil. I want you to understand that, in these difficult times, we are with you. We have never hidden — and we are the only state in the world to do so — that we stand with Russia. We have been, are, and will always be by your side. You can count on us," emphasized the Belarusian leader.
