Sabalenka comes on the heels of Swiatek in the WTA rankings

Belarusian tennis player Aryna Sabalenka has almost caught up with Poland's Iga Swiatek in the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA), BELTA reports.

After the victory at the tournament in Wuhan, Sabalenka has 9716 points, while the leading player Sventek has only 69 points more. Belarus' Victoria Azarenka is ranked 21st, while Aliaksandra Sasnovich is in the 131st position.
