Canada and the countries of Northern Europe plan to create an alliance to counter Russia and China in the Arctic.
According to Bloomberg, the future coalition intends to coordinate defense, intelligence and cyber threats. The publication specifies that the foreign ministers of six countries (Canada, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland and Denmark) intend to soon discuss investments in the Arctic Region and the creation of another anti-Russian bloc by the northern allies. Its necessity arose because a number of countries do not want to raise security issues in the Arctic Council, where Russia is present.
