First Belarusian 3D cartoon "Song of Sirin" premiered in Pioner movie theater

Listapad Film Festival is going on in five movie theaters of the Belarusian capital. The jubilee forum brought films from 48 countries of the world features live meetings with truly popular actors.

Listapadzik, a children's film competition, opened on November 2, 2024 in Pioner movie theater. The festival was opened with the first 3D animated film "Song of Sirin". The script for it had been at the Belarusfilm studio since 2019. And now, finally, director Elena Turova made a beautiful story, which is based on the legends of Slavic mythology. It is told with the help of two schoolchildren.

Belarusian 80-minute animated story participates in the competition Listapadzik together with the other six animated films. There are films from Brazil, Mexico, Croatia, Spain and two films are presented by Russia. Of course, they will be evaluated by a professional jury and a special feature of Listapadzik is the children's jury.

The adult jury, as in 2023, is headed by Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus, actress Svetlana Sukhovei.

On November 2, the attention of many moviegoers will be drawn to movie theater Tsentralny, where the screening of the main competition feature films is held. Of course, Listapad will be rich in premieres, unique films, which have reached us thanks to good contacts of Belarusians.
