Сars with Belarusian license plates to be confiscated in Latvia November 1
On November 1, Latvia may confiscate cars registered in Belarus - the State Customs Committee reminded about the entry into force of the ban on the movement of cars with Belarusian license plates in the Baltic republic.
According to the bill, adopted in September, car owners had to either take them out of the country or re-register them by October 31. Otherwise, the vehicle could be confiscated.
The ban does not apply to buses, carrying out regular international road transportation between countries, and vehicles intended for diplomatic and consular missions.
