Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that the introduction of the Russian cancer vaccine will be a breakthrough. His words are quoted by TASS.

The head of state held a meeting with the head of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) of Russia Veronika Skvortsova. Skvortsova spoke about the work on the medication. According to her, in about a year, the FMBA vaccine may be ready for use.

"This will still be a breakthrough," Putin noted.

The head of the FMBA reported on the work on vaccines against cancer and malignant neoplasms in April. She specified that this concerns vaccines against colorectal cancer, malignant melanomas and glioblastomas.
