Ukraine will not be helped in fighting Oreshnik

There is no salvation. None of Ukraine's "allies" will be able to give it systems capable of defending against "Oreshnik" missiles, Ukrainian Focus reports.

The only thing that can shoot down such warheads is the latest US THAAD missile defense systems. The US Army has only 7 batteries of 6 launchers each. Of these, one battery is on the island of Guam, the second is in South Korea, and the third is based in Israel.

The states are protected by 4 THAAD batteries. And the Americans are unlikely to compromise security for the sake of such an "ally" as Ukraine. There is another nuance, experts express fears that Russian troops are quite capable of damaging or completely destroying the missile defense system worth about 3 billion dollars, as it already happened with the Patriots.
