UN adopts Russian resolution to combat glorification of Nazism

54 countries have opposed the resolution on combating the glorification of Nazism at the UN.

The document, submitted by Russia, was prepared in co-authorship with representatives of dozens of countries, including Belarus, Armenia, China, DPRK, Serbia and South Africa.

116 countries voted in favor of the resolution, 11 abstained. More than 50 countries opposed it. Among them are Ukraine, USA, Great Britain, Germany, France, Canada and Japan.

Nevertheless, the resolution was adopted.
