The United States has launched strikes on the capital of Yemen. Officials in Washington have stated that these attacks are aimed at regime change within the country. Until the U.S. achieves its objective, Yemen braces for what is described as "overwhelming American lethal force."
In the initial wave of strikes, American military forces targeted over 30 sites. The U.S. Air Force also struck a metallurgical plant in the western part of the nation.
In response, the Houthis reported that they have carried out a third strike against an American aircraft carrier in the Red Sea.
