Zakharova: NATO's appearance in Ukraine will mean its entry into the war against Russia

The appearance of NATO forces in Ukraine will lead to catastrophic consequences for the whole world and will mean the alliance's entry into the war against Russia. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said this at a briefing, TASS reported.
“I don't understand, maybe it somehow doesn't reach them that the appearance of NATO contingents in the territory of Ukraine will mean the alliance's entry into the war against our country, we have told them about it many times, because it will lead to catastrophic consequences not only for Europe, but also for the whole world,” the diplomat said, commenting on the statement of Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna about the need to send military forces of European countries to Ukraine to supposedly ‘reinforce’ the peace agreement against Russia.
As Zakharova noted, the Estonian foreign minister is inciting the other members of the alliance to participate “in an adventure that is deliberately doomed to failure.” “I see that now these very NATO countries are reinforcing the escalation with the corpses of Ukrainian citizens, this is what they are adept at.
“Estonia, and, in fact, other Baltic regimes, belongs to the radical wing of the North Atlantic bloc, is constantly marked by aggressive, provocative, belligerent statements regarding our country, by the way, with such blatant nationalist overtones,” she added.
