Lukashenko: Listapad Film Festival is a landmark cultural event of not just Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the guests and participants of the XXX Minsk International Film Festival Listapad on the opening of the cultural forum, BelTA reports citing the press service of the Belarusian leader.

"For three decades the film forum has become a landmark event in the cultural life not only of Belarus, but also of many countries near and far abroad. Expanding the geography of participants and opening new creative horizons, Listapad proudly fulfills its humanitarian mission, brings people and continents together, affirms the ideals of peace and goodness," reads the congratulations message.

Alexander Lukashenko expressed confidence that this festival, which is being held on the 100th anniversary of the Belarusian cinema under the motto "Cinema with Quality Mark," will become a place for the birth of cultural initiatives and acquaintance with the best film projects.

The President wished the organizers and jury members fruitful work, and the guests unforgettable impressions.
