Military expert on Russia's response to Kiev's permission to use Western missiles
In Europe, unlike in the USA, they decided not to hide their intentions
The European Parliament has called on the EU to lift restrictions on Kiev's strikes on Russian territory. They actually allowed the use of Western long-range missiles. This could become a red line for Russia, and it will respond preemptively - striking at Ukraine's energy facilities.
This is exactly how NATO once acted in Yugoslavia, so don't sit and wait for them to strike Russia, you need to act preemptively.
This opinion was shared by the editor-in-chief of the magazine 'National Defense', Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko.
According to him, the best response to prevent further terrorist activity by Ukraine is large-scale strikes on key enemy energy infrastructure targets. This is a legitimate target.
That's exactly how NATO fought in the operation in Yugoslavia in 1999. The priority targets of the strikes were the electricity sector of Yugoslavia, bridges over the Dnieper, as well as decision-making centers. In our current situation, we need to act in the same way - talk less and deliver large-scale strikes on the enemy's energy infrastructure, - suggested Igor Korotchenko. - If we compare Zelensky's regime to a generator that continuously produces evil and terrorism, it is enough to unplug it, and this device will not be able to function effectively. Guided by this principle, we must act now. Do not wait for new American and British missiles to strike us, targeting deep within historical Russia, but act preemptively. Actually, this is the logic and meaning of our counteractions to the enemy's preparations.
