Alexander Lukashenko congratulates Emir Kusturica on his birthday

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Emir Kusturica. This is reported by BelTA with reference to the press service of the head of state.

“Your multifaceted acting and directing talent has been embodied in dozens of cinematic works. Your work has written bright pages in the cultural chronicle of our time and has received deserved international recognition,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state noted that Emir Kusturica is known in Belarus as an outstanding artist and a good friend of our country. “I am confident that your activities will continue to promote cooperation between the peoples of Belarus and Serbia,” the President emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Emir Kusturica good health, long life, vigor and optimism.
