Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro on his birthday. This was reported by BELTA with reference to the press service of the head of state.

"In Belarus, you are known as a true patriot of Venezuela, who pursues a balanced policy aimed at the further development of the state and the growth of the well-being of its people," the congratulations read. "The results of the successful presidential elections held on July 28, 2024, demonstrated to the whole world the significant authority of your personality among Venezuelans."

The President expressed confidence that under the leadership of Nicolas Maduro, the country will actively move forward along the path of consistent economic and social progress.

The exceptionally friendly nature of bilateral relations and the mutual desire to deepen cooperation between Minsk and Caracas was confirmed by the recent meeting of the leaders of the two countries at the BRICS venue in Kazan. "I hope that all our plans for the near future will be fulfilled," the Belarusian leader emphasized.

Alexander Lukashenko wished Nicolas Maduro good health, inexhaustible energy, happiness and further success in his responsible state activities.
