Lukashenko approves intergovernmental agreement with Pakistan on international road transportation

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 430 on November 21. Thus, he approved the draft agreement between the governments of Belarus and Pakistan on international road transportation as a basis for negotiations, BelTA reports.

This agreement defines the procedure for international road transportation of passengers and cargoes, the conditions of mutual exemption of carriers from customs duties, taxes and fees associated with the use of vehicles.

The implementation of this international agreement will contribute to the development of cooperation between Belarus and Pakistan in the field of road transportation, as well as increase the volume of exports of road transport services to Pakistan and the neighboring countries.

The Ministry of Transport and Communications is authorized to negotiate the draft agreement and sign it.
